Before I start please know that I am not interested in a long distance relationship. You must be in my area or able and willing to drive to me to see each other and if things go well I would expect that to be weekly at least. I want to date in the flesh so-to-speak. Now about me. I am a somewhat introverted shy person who enjoys what I listed above as well as many others I haven't tried yet or just forget to mention. I am single for 13 years and ready for a dating/relationship that goes to a deeper level. I know these things take time but I don't wish to play games or make light of what I'm looking for. Being the quiet observer sometimes puts me at odds with the socializing public and I often take on the appearance of a wallflower however, there is much more beneath the surface. I am open minded and responsive to lifestyle choices such as geeks, nerds, motorcyclists, musicians, artists ect. I enjoy people who think deeply and it would be nice to meet someone sincerely interested in getting to the heart of who I truely am.Who I am is complicated, even if I am a casual, low maintenence gal. So much information can be a bit overwehlming for a website but I'll give it a go. I have an eclectic spirit and it is refelcted in my tastes and hobbies. My music favorites range from every decade including classical, jazz, blues, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, funk and punk. I'm a huge fan of Tom Waits, REM, Patsy Cline, Raul Malo, Keb Mo', Fleetwood Mac ... you get the idea. I don't care for new country, rap, heavy metal, or Top 40. Movie taste is simular. I love some black white classics, b-movies, 60's sci fi, and just good or bad filmkaing in general. I avoid the everyday mundane blockbuster type movies. My collection includes The Princess Bride, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Solent Green, Reanimator, Harry Potter, Sense and Sensebility, just to name a few. All this diveristy makes for some serious or not so serious extended converstaions about anything and everything. I'm a good cook and enjoy it very much. I do like to go out to eat as well, trying new or ethnic delicacies, almost anything but beans and hot foods. I am a nurturer by nature so I'm big on affection, kindness, consistency and basically taking care of one another. I insist on and share in the resposibility for open communication, sincerity, romance, being treated like a lady as I will act like one and honesty. |
