I have met a lot of nice people on this site,but believe that a I need a relationship that starts out as friends. I'm a petite,vivacious,confident,employed night shift,honest,passionate,dependable woman! Still learning about myself and adjusting to the realization of understanding more what I want and don't want in a relationship, I know I'm tired of being alone despite all the friends that I have and hence searching for that special someone to share my life...I'm an optimistic person always and have a great sense of humor. I don't like to sit around unless I'm reading a good book or an interesting article..I know I need someone who loves to be in or near the water year round...I am a passionate individual who is blessed in loving the work I do, the family and friends that I have...I am very dependable...believe a friendship isn't always 50/50 but that in the end it all works out...I listen to all sorts of music-the 60's,70's,early 80's, classical, new age,blues, jazz,folk,general rock and roll. I like:the simple pleasures of life like-spending time with my kids and grandkids,enjoying/admiring nature,star gazing,blowing bubbles,finding itty bitty shells on a beach, floating down a river or riding the current of the tide after a hard paddle, listening to the waves,the color green, the sound of rain on the roof,my herb and butterfly gardens.... I am optimistic about eventually finding that one person who really isn't looking to change me, who is confident, understands that there are still women out there who can be independent but still hold true to many idea's of a good old fashioned romance.
